Drop-In Programs

For Kids and Adults

Grow Together

Kids and adults are invited to join us to learn horse management (including grooming, bathing, stable chores, cleaning tack, making treats, basic first aid, and more), play mounted games and develop their horsemanship skills. Participants will learn about responsibility, teamwork, and have an opportunity to practice skills often not taught in lessons. No riding experience necessary.

Little Riders (Kindergarten-3rd Grad)

Little riders are invited to join us for pony inspired games, activities, crafts, and rides. This age group will learn balance and confidence in the saddle on the lead line during short rides with a skilled handler.

Junior Riders (Kids 4th-8th Grade)

Young riders will participate in horsemanship activities including feeding, tying, tack maintenance, barn chores, and horse handling. Each day will also include a brief riding lesson for some time in the saddle. This program is intended as an introduction to riding or as a supplement to an existing riding program.

Greenhorn Club with Holder Performance Horses (Teens and Adults)

Teens and adults can join us to learn groundwork basics, horse safety practices, grooming, saddling, and have a chance to ride. This is perfect for adults considering starting riding or who are craving more horsemanship knowledge than is covered in their regular lesson program. This class is offered by Ruby Doss and Sarah Barns from Holder Performance Horses.
