Greenhorn Club

It’s not just about learning to ride

Groundwork

Good horsemanship starts on the ground. We’ll focus a portion of every session on learning safe, practical skills for handling your horse through obstacles and space.

Horsemanship

Horsemanship is all things pertaining to horse care and stewardship, including understanding horse behavior, care, nutrition, and more.

Fundamentals of Riding

Learn the basics of good, safe horseback riding in a small group setting. By the end of the 4 weeks, you’ll be able to steer through basic obstacles, ride in a small group, and feel confident in your balance and aids.

A program designed for adults learning to ride for the first time, or returning after a break.

Ruby Doss and Sarah Barns will facilitate small groups of adult riders on a 4 week horsemanship journey to learn the fundamentals of good horsemanship and riding techniques.
